What we collect
When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, the unit you are interested in and your message. We also record that you agreed to be contacted, which web page the form was on and, if you arrived from an advert, which campaign it was. To stop spam we keep a scrambled one-way code made from your internet (IP) address, never the address itself, and the type of browser you used.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how people arrive. These tools set cookies and collect details like your approximate location, device and browser. We use this information only in aggregate to improve the site. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings.
Why we collect it
We use it only to respond to your enquiry and, if you ask for one, to prepare a quote. We do not send marketing email. We do not share your details with third parties. Enquiries are stored and emailed through Cloudflare, which hosts this website.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for 12 months and then delete them automatically. This is never longer than the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) allows.
Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you. You may also ask us to correct it or delete it. Write to info@gardenstorage.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable time.
